For some dates, this class can also be paired with a LTC class for an additional $60.

For some dates, this class can also be paired with a Pistol Level 1 class for an additional $200.

In the Pistol Basics & Fundamentals our goal is to build a foundation upon good solid fundamentals. The concepts and principals will focus on the process and not the end result. Through competence and education we aim to expand the shooters knowledge and understanding. Knowledge and skills build competence which builds confidence.

We will cover nomenclature, safety, breakdown, cleaning, safe weapon handling, fundamentals of marksman ship (sight picture, trigger press, grip, stance) and holster considerations and options.

Equipment list:

• Semi Automatic Pistol or Modern Revolver (no single action revolver)
• 2 magazines minimum for Semi-Auto 
• Eye/ear protection (will be available)
• 100 rounds of ammunition (no steel core or steel cased) extra ammo is always good and may be available to purchase
• Proper clothing and footwear
• Pen/paper
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow as a shooter
• Cleaning kit (there will be cleaning kits available for use/purchase)
